The idea.

The stylized and eye-catching sun-visual works with dark, full, pastell or bright colours, brings a warm feeling also in winter-time.
The name of the design "SUNDOWN"is a nice play of words. Example: If you place and combine 4 carpets in a square (also in different colours)
you have a very big complete sun down at your feet.

Die Idee.

Das stilisierte und plakative Motiv der Sonne
wirkt gut in dunklen, vollen, pastelligen und
hellen Farbtönen und vermittelt ein warmes Gefühl
auch in der Winterzeit. Der Name des Designs "SUNDOWN" ist ein kleines Wortspiel. Ein Beispiel: Wenn man 4 Teppiche (auch in verschiedenen Farben) zum Quadrat zusammenlegt,
hat man eine riesige, komplette Sonne zu seinen
Füßen liegen.

Acerca de Frank Simon

Frank Simon was born in 1960 in Bielefeld, Germany. He has been painting and illustrating since he was a child, and was always interested in arts with his favorite being pop art. He loves exceptional designs. After school he studied and worked as a Lithographer. For the past 25 years, he has worked in creative advertising as a (Art Director) Grafic Designer.

Über mich.

Ich wurde im Jahr 1960 in Bielefeld, Deutschland geboren, male und illustriere seit meiner Kindheit sehr gern, bin immer kunstinteressiert (speziell Popart) und liebe ausgefallenes Design.
Nach dem Schulabschluss folgte die Ausbildung und Arbeit als Lithograf, danach über 25 Jahre kreatives Wirken in der Werbung als (Art Direktor) u. Grafik Designer.
